Overshadowed by DeVante Parker's re-emergence, Jakeem Grant saw a promising elevated workload in Week 8.
The fourth-year wideout was one of Osweiler's go-to weapons versus the Texans. Grant was on the field for over 95% of snaps and saw a season-high 8 targets. While he finished with just 4 catches for 36 yards, his total would have been much higher if not for a couple of unlucky bounces. The heavy workload for Grant last week should not disappear on Sunday as Kenny Stills is likely out again -- he has yet to practice this week -- and Miami faces a soft Jets secondary.
The Jets have given up the most catches (129) and the second-most yards (1,535) to wide receivers this season. That has left them allowing the fifth-most PPR points to the position this season. Coupled with Grant's increase in volume, the matchup gives him plenty of upside in Week 9.
