Mitchell Trubisky Had His 3rd 300-yard, 3-Score Game of 2018

Since the early days of professional football, the identity of the Chicago Bears has been defense, then defense, with some more defense to follow. They haven’t seen a quarterback named to the Pro Bowl since 1985. But the times could well be changing in the Windy City, with the Bears' offense suddenly gaining a lot of attention.

Second-year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky passed for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns in his team's victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, adding 18 yards and a touchdown on 3 carries. This was Trubisky’s third game of the season with at least 300 yards passing and 3 touchdowns, the most by any Bears quarterback in a single season since 1950.

Trubisky finished Week 10 as the QB1 in fantasy points with 36.0. This was the fifth time this season he has finished in the top 10 in terms of fantasy points in a given week. He has scored at least 21.9 points in five of his last six games. Before Sunday, he was owned in only 74.6% of ESPN leagues. If he's free in your league, he is a name you may want to think about adding for the seasons later weeks.

In Week 11, the Bears take on the Minnesota Vikings, and Mike Zimmer’s men have not allowed more than 12 fantasy points to a quarterback in any of their last four games. But the schedule eases up after that, including a Week 12 date with the Lions' D he just destroyed.
