If you watch tape of Andrew Luck, you can't help but fall in love with the way he navigates the pocket and uses his athleticism to extend plays and take off and run when required. But you also find yourself shaking your head at his questionable decisions and wondering when he'll "put it all together" and reach the upper echelon of signal-callers.
Luckily, if you draft Andrew in fantasy football, you don't need him to be an elite "real" NFL quarterback - you just need him to score a ton of points. And with a bad offensive line, no running game, and a ridiculous set of weapons on offense, look for Luck to do just that.
Luck finished as one of the top quarterbacks in Total NEP, which accounts for production as both a runner and a passer. He was one of the smartest and most efficient "mobile quarterbacks" in the NFL, something that will boost his value in 2014. Add to that his capable arm and an above-average pass-to-run ratio offense, and Luck is poised to produce at a high level for fantasy owners, even if he doesn't make the leap to "elite" status.
