Fantasy Football: 7 Players to Avoid in Week 6
Which players are most likely to fall short of expectations in Week 6?

Pierre Garcon, WR, Washington Redskins

I'll continue to think Pierre Garcon is a quality NFL receiver, but his numbers are subpar after five weeks. Among the 50 players with 30 or more targets, Garcon ranks in the back half in Reception NEP, Target NEP, Reception NEP per target and Success Rate. You can decide whether to attribute the blame to Garcon, Kirk Cousins, or a third party, but what you can tell is that the Cousins-Garcon pairing is not an efficient one by our numbers.

The Jets defense is third thus far in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, trailing only the Broncos and Panthers. Lineman Sheldon Richardson will be back, and with DeSean Jackson likely to miss another game with a hamstring injury, Garcon could draw Darrelle Revis. We project Garcon for 4.39 receptions, 47.71 yards, and 0.21 touchdowns.
