Melky Cabrera is putting together a decent season, slashing .295/.342/.439 with a .334 wOBA and 29.4% strikeout rate that are both above his career averages.

A switch-hitter, Cabrera has done his best work against right-handed pitching over his career, making this matchup with struggling rookie Zach Neal a good one.

Neal will be making only his fourth major league start (14th appearance), and he is sporting a 5.19 ERA and 4.45 SIERA with a lowly 8.5% strikeout rate.

The sample size is small, but Neal has been destroyed by lefties to the tune of a .376 wOBA, making this matchup very appealing for Cabrera.
