Josh Donaldson is always worth a look against a left-hander, especially when the southpaw isn't great. That's the case tonight as Donaldson gets a tasty matchup against Tyler Skaggs.

Over his career, Skaggs has pitched to a 4.02 SIERA with a 19.2% strikeout rate, which isn't all that bad. However, he has surrendered a .322 wOBA to right-handed hitters, and the Rogers Centre ranks seventh in home run factor.

Donaldson has obliterated southpaws this season to the tune of a .418 wOBA, 39.3% hard-hit rate, and 44.9% fly-ball rate. The Toronto Blue Jays' implied total of 5.17 runs is the second-best mark of the day.
