Lucas Giolito only has three big-league starts under his belt, but he has looked terrible. The top prospect has a 4.91 ERA and 7.02 SIERA while he has nearly twice as many walks (9) as strikeouts (5).

He has allowed a huge 45.5% hard-hit rate with only a 9.1% soft-hit rate against left-handed hitters, making this is a great matchup for Gerardo Parra.

Parra's production hasn't been anything to write home about this season. But he posted a solid .303/.336/.473 slash with a .345 wOBA, .170 ISO and 31.2% hard-hit against right-handed pitchers last season. His hard-hit rate has climbed to 34.1% this year, and with Giolito's struggles through his first few games, this is a great spot for Parra.
