Travis Shaw, 3B, Boston Red Sox

It has been a quiet month for Travis Shaw, but despite his limited production, things haven't been all bad as he has a 30.0% hard-hit rate in August.

He has also done some decent work against right-handed pitching this season, slashing .267/.339/.450 with a .335 wOBA and .182 ISO on a huge 37.8% hard-hit rate. Those numbers are a good sign for tonight's matchup with Jake Odorizzi.

Odorizzi's 4.20 SIERA is his worst since his two-game rookie year in 2012 while he is giving up a 33.2% hard-hit rate on the year.

The Boston Red Sox have a fairly high implied total tonight -- 5.17 as of writing. With a good matchup in a lineup that should produce some serious offense, Shaw has a lot of upside.
