The San Diego Padres have a great matchup tonight as they take on Matt Wisler and the Atlanta Braves.

Wisler has followed up his 4.71 ERA and 4.98 SIERA from his 2015 rookie campaign with a 4.92 ERA and 4.71 SIERA this season. He has allowed a huge 37.7% hard-hit rate on the season, and he has given up 5 or more runs in four of his last five starts.

Left-handed hitters have especially been giving Wisler trouble. He has allowed a .332 wOBA while pitching to a 5.38 xFIP against lefties on the year.

The switch-hitting Yangervis Solarte has seen about equal success against pitchers of either handedness. He is slashing .270/.332/.468 with a .342 wOBA against righties this year. He only has a 13.7% strikeout rate to go with a 34.1% hard-hit rate, and he could be in store for a big night against Wisler.
