Matt Carpenter is a saint. The dude may be the perfect baseball player, and he's having another superb season, posting a .393 wOBA with 17 jacks and a 15.2% walk rate. The walk rate and wOBA are career-high clips.

A lefty, Carpenter does his best work versus right-handed pitchers. He's torched righties to the tune of a .408 wOBA. His batted-ball numbers against right-handers scream power as he boasts a 48.5% hard-hit rate and 48.0% fly-ball rate. Putting those numbers in Miller Park, which ranks fourth in park factor and third in home run factor, should make you salivate.

Tonight, he squares off with Milwaukee Brewers' righty Matt Garza. With a 4.87 SIERA and 14.0% strikeout rate, Garza is a guy we want to target. He's had a really tough time versus southpaws, surrendering a .373 wOBA and 41.7% hard-hit rate to left-handed sticks. That hard-hit rate jumps to an impossibly-high 57.9% when he faces a lefty at Miller Park.
