Asdrubal Cabrera, SS, New York Mets

Jose Urena will be pitching for the Miami Marlins tonight, and his play this year has been pretty ugly.

Starting the season as a reliever, he stepped up into a starting role after the All Star break and has has a 4.81 ERA and 4.49 xFIP through six starts in that span. His season-long numbers are even worse with a 5.83 ERA and 4.74 xFIP through 22 games (54 innings).

Left-handed hitters have absolutely dominated him with a .360 wOBA 5.75 xFIP on the year, and he'll be dealing with a lefty when he faces the switch-hitting Asdrubal Cabrera tonight.

Cabrera has been solid from the dish this year, slashing .273/.324/.453 through 445 plate appearances with a .331 wOBA and .180 ISO. He also owns a career-high 36.6% hard-hit rate, and in a matchup this sweet, that should lead to serious success.
