Trevor Plouffe, 3B, Minnesota Twins

The pitcher on the other side of the Minnesota Twins versus Chicago White Sox game, Jose Quintana, may look like a a bit of a tough matchup, with his 2.77 ERA on the year, but he's sporting a 3.95 SIERA -- his highest since his 2012 rookie season -- while allowing a career-high 33.0% hard-hit rate.

He is also sporting a 4.26 xFIP against right-handed hitting, making this a good spot for Trevor Plouffe.

Plouffe is slashing .250/.321/.456 against southpaws this season, and while his .329 wOBA isn't overly impressive, he has a .206 ISO and a massive 41.2% hard-hit rate. The matchup is better than it may look on the surface, and while the production hasn't quite been there, Plouffe is making terrific contact against lefties this season, giving him solid upside tonight.
