Tyler Collins, OF, Detroit Tigers

Tyler Collins is not a lock to start for the Detroit Tigers, so make sure you check when lineups are announced. But Collins has gotten two straight starts against right-handed pitchers, and Detroit is up against a righty today in Edinson Volquez.

Volquez is a guy who just doesn't inspire any confidence when he is on the mound. He has a 5.01 ERA on the year, and his 4.53 SIERA marks his sixth consecutive season above a 4.20. His 16.7% strikeout rate is also his lowest since 2006.

Collins hasn't found a ton of success from the dish to start his career, but he has shown some promise. Collins is slashing .261/.327/.455 with a .334 wOBA and 32.3% hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching this year. With a near-minimum salary in a good matchup, he has a great chance to return value.
