Cheslor Cuthbert, 3B, Kansas City Royals

The Kansas City Royals have a nice 4.71 implied total on Monday as they take on Ross Detwiler and the Oakland Athletics.

Detwiler has really struggled through most of his Major League career, and he owns a 4.97 SIERA and 5.15 ERA on the season after posting a 5.28 SIERA and 7.25 ERA in 2015. He has been especially bad against right-handed hitters, with a career .354 wOBA and 4.81 xFIP, and that makes this an excellent matchup for Cheslor Cuthbert.

Cuthbert hasn't been overly impressive through his first two seasons in the Majors, but he has posted some strong numbers through 133 plate appearances against left-handed pitchers, slashing .317/.353/.468 with a .353 wOBA and a 29.4% hard-hit rate.
