Ryan Schimpf has been excellent from the dish in his rookie season, and you aren't likely going to be able to get him with such a low salary for much longer.

Through 271 plate appearances this year, he is slashing .225/.339/.573 with a .375 wOBA and .348 ISO despite only posting a .256 BABIP on a huge 41.5% hard-hit rate.

He has a good matchup tonight against Jeff Samardzija, whose 4.32 SIERA this season marks his second straight year above 4.15 and who is allowing a .326 wOBA with a shaky 4.55 xFIP against left-handed hitters on the season.
