Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Like first base, third base is another strong position with some expensive options in attractive spots. Josh Donaldson and Kris Bryant will face off against a lefty, and Manny Machado will take his talents to Fenway Park. These three options will likely dominate ownership.
Why You Should Use Him:
Jung Ho Kang has been on fire to start September. Albeit a small sample size of 31 plate appearances, Kang has mashed this month with 4 home runs and a 1.581 OPS.
Kang will face off against Alec Asher, who recently returned from an 80-game suspension and spun a gem his first time out. Asher, however, didn't fan anyone in that outing, and he has struggled with the long ball in his professional career -- most notably allowing 2.48 home runs per nine innings pitched in 2015 for the Phillies in 29 innings pitched.
For the year, Kang owns a .910 OPS against righties, and he makes for a sneaky play in this one.
