Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With ace Jose Fernandez taking the bump facing against an Atlanta Braves team with an implied team total of 3.25 runs and 20-win Rick Porcello also taking the hill, Carlos Rodon should go largely overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

Rodon has posted 25 FanDuel points in each of his last eight starts, including 39 or more points in each of his last four outings.

This surge is coming primarily on the strength of a reduced walk rate. Rodon handed out free passes to 8% of hitters in the first half, but he has cut that down to 5.8% in the second half.

All the while, Rodon has maintained a strong strikeout rate. In the second half, he is striking out 23% of the batters he has faced.
