Robbie Grossman is in the midst of what is easily the best year of his career, slashing .280/.387/.451 with a .366 wOBA and .171 ISO through 344 plate appearances.

A switch-hitter, he does his best work against southpaws -- owning a huge .452 wOBA against lefties on the season and a .346 wOBA against left-handers over his career -- and he has a good matchup tonight against Matt Boyd.

Boyd owns a 5.65 ERA and 4.55 SIERA through 31 career starts (146 2/3 innings). He has especially struggled with right-handed hitters, allowing a .356 wOBA while pitching to a 4.90 xFIP.
