Yangervis Solarte, 3B, San Diego Padres

A switch-hitter, Yangervis Solarte has done his best work against right-handed pitching over his career. This season, he's slashing .292/.348/.475 with a .352 wOBA and .183 ISO on a 33.7% hard-hit rate against righties.

He has a good matchup today against Arizona Diamondbacks' rookie righty Matt Koch, who has an ugly 5.21 SIERA through his first six starts. His sample size in the majors is small, but Koch has a brutal 6.35 xFIP while allowing a 38.5% hard-hit rate to left-handed hitters so far, putting Solarate and all the San Diego Padres lefties in a good spot.
