If you're noticing a trend here, it's likely for a reason: players who suffered injuries the previous season are always going to be polarizing. Hunter Pence is no exception.

Between the past two seasons, Pence has managed to log just 158 total games. That's after back-to-back seasons with 162 games played and seven consecutive years of 150-plus. When he has been on the field, though, the production has still been there.

If we combine his past two years (one year worth of games) into one season, Pence has a .284/.347/.460 slash with 22 home runs, 97 RBI's, and 88 runs scored. The only thing he has lost from his younger years is stolen bases as he had just five in this span. All around, a healthy Pence still seems to be a solid player who can provide fantasy value.

Pence has limited upside due to his reduced speed and the park in which he plays. Still, if he can put together another fully healthy season, he'll destroy the expected value of his draft slot on ESPN, and he's much closer to his true value on Yahoo.
