Manny Machado, 3B, Baltimore Orioles

Even though they're underdogs against Steven Wright and the Boston Red Sox, tonight's game has a big 9.5-run over/under, and the Baltimore Orioles boast a pretty solid 4.47 implied total.

Wright, a right-handed knuckleballer, owns reverse platoon splits over his first few years in the majors, allowing a .307 wOBA on a 34.8% hard-hit rate with a 4.47 xFIP against right-handed hitters.

Manny Machado does tend to do his best work against southpaws, but he didn't discriminate too much in 2016, cracking righties for a 34.9% hard-hit rate, 44.2% fly-ball rate and .252 ISO. Machado is plenty dangerous in this matchup.
