Like the Jays, the Philadelphia Phillies draw a somewhat tough matchup against Robert Gsellman and the New York Mets.

Gsellman, owner of a 3.70 SIERA through 11 major league games, has allowed some strong contact to left-handed hitters, with a 33.3% hard-hit and 12.7% soft-hit rate since his debut.

Michael Saunders is coming off one of his best years at the dish, having posted a .348 wOBA and .224 isolated slugging (ISO) in 2016, while tagging right-handed pitchers for a big 38.6% hard-hit rate. This matchup is far better for him than it looks on the surface, and for a little more than minimum salary, he offers some nice value.
