Trevor Story might be my favorite bat to target in Coors tonight.

His price tag is very reasonable considering the matchup and position the Rockies' offense is in, and that's because he hasn't been especially productive over the last couple of weeks. That lack of production doesn't concern me at all, though, because few players have been making the kind of contact he has in that time.

Over the last 15 days, he leads hitters with at least 10 batted balls in average batted-ball distance, at 285 feet. This statistic has benefited from some games at Coors, but that's where he plays tonight, and it's also pretty significantly higher than anyone else, with only five other hitters averaging above even 245 feet. He also ranks 18th in the MLB in average exit velocity in that time.

Bringing those contact numbers into such a favorable matchup at Coors for this cheap is really easy to like.
