Tim Beckham remains nice and cheap despite being outstanding over the past couple of weeks.

Since he owns a .378 wOBA over the past 15 days and ranks 21st in both average exit velocity and average batted ball distance (min. 10 batted balls) in that stretch, the big production doesn't come as much of a surprise.

He'll be up against Miami Marlins righty Dan Straily tonight, and while Straily has posted an improved skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) this season, he has also allowed a career-worst 34.4% hard-hit rate through five starts.
