Thus far this season, Yu Darvish hasn't been fanning batters at his typical rate. With a strikeout rate north of 30.0% and swinging strike rate topping 12.0% in three of his first four seasons in the majors -- and with his 25.4% in 2017 still being a decent mark -- I'm not too concerned about that...yet.

Tonight's matchup isn't an overwhelmingly easy one, against a Philadelphia Phillies team whose 98 wRC+ against right-handed pitching is right around the league average, but the Phillies' 22.9% strikeout rate against right-handed pitching is the seventh-highest mark in the majors. So, this a good spot for Darvish to get those strikeout numbers up.

The Texas Rangers are also Tuesday's biggest favorites (-180 money line), and even at home at the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park, Darvish has a pretty decent floor to go with his strikeout upside.
