Even on the road at a pitcher-friendly park, the Arizona Diamondbacks bats are well-positioned in a matchup with Jered Weaver and the San Diego Padres.

Weaver has been pretty brutal over the last three seasons, with a SIERA worse than 4.80 and strikeout rate worse than 14.0% in each season -- including a 4.98 SIERA and only a 12.6% strikeout rate this season.

Paul Goldschmidt has been crushing the ball recently, ranking 26th in average exit velocity and 9th in average batted-ball distance among hitters with at least 10 batted balls over the past 15 days.
