Looking at that same group of 175 players who threw at least 250 pitches in May, few have been as bad as Bronson Arroyo, who's allowed the 17th-highest average exit velocity and highest average batted-ball distance.

Those numbers shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The 40-year-old Arroyo has been seeing his first major league action since 2014, and after 11 straight seasons with a SIERA north of 4.00, he's sporting a career-worst 5.16 through 10 games in 2017, which he's paired with a 36.7% hard-hit rate and 48.3% fly-ball rate. Unsurprisingly, the Atlanta Braves have the one of the day's highest implied totals (4.94).

This matchup gives a huge boost to Matt Kemp, who's been excellent this season, with a career-high .416 wOBA on a career-high 37.6% hard-hit rate. numberFire's models project Kemp as the second-highest fantasy scorer among today's hitters.
