Maikel Franco, 3B, Philadelphia Phillies

Even with Rick Porcello giving up a ton of hard contact this season (42.2%) and some potential winds at Fenway, we still can't use the struggling Maikel Franco.

Instead of taking the next step this year, Franco has been an utter disaster, sporting just a .258 wOBA and .130 isolated power.

The good news is he's not striking out at a high rate (15.3%), and his .216 BABIP screams positive regression. A turnaround could occur at some point, much like his teammate Odubel Herrera.

Still, over the past month, he's hitting an uncharacteristically high rate of grounders (51.2%), with a pedestrian hard-hit rate (28.1%) and average exit velocity (86.6 mph). If you want some exposure to the Philadelphia Phillies, you're probably better off looking at Franco's teammates.
