Nomar Mazara, OF, Texas Rangers

Texas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara is only 22 years old, but he's made himself familiar with the upper deck of Globe Life Park since debuting last April. After all, the left-handed hitter has made bombs like this one just part of his daily routine.

Part of the reason behind his stellar rookie campaign of 2016 was a hot stretch upon getting called up: Mazara posted a 126 wRC+ and a .365 wOBA through 74 plate appearances last April despite a hard-hit rate of just 22.6% (his 26.4% line-drive rate during this time helped, but still).

This April's hard-hit rate improved slightly (23.4%), but he struggled to a 69 wRC+ and .284 wOBA through 103 plate appearances. Once the calendar flipped to May, though, things started to change.

The young outfielder woke up over his next 108 plate appearances with a 146 wRC+ and .397 wOBA, helped in part by more line drives (15.6% in April, 20.8% in May) and a hard-hit rate that increased to 31.2%.

While his performance in June hasn't been as good overall (93 wRC+ and .320 wOBA), he's reaching the perfect storm when it comes to fantasy and daily fantasy upside. Through 70 plate appearances, his fly-ball rate has climbed up to 42.2% to go along with a 46.7% hard-hit rate.
