4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/26/17
Michael Taylor, OF, Washington Nationals
FanDuel Price: $3,500
Michael Taylor is the hot hand for the Washington Nationals, but the price is too high to consider him outside of Washington stacks tonight.
Taylor has 3 home runs in his last two games, along with a .387 wOBA and 36.4% hard-hit rate in June. He's long had intriguing power and speed fantasy potential and could finally be tapping into that with 11 long balls and 7 swiped bags.
Still, he bats in the bottom half of the order, often as low as eighth, which puts a serious dent in his value -- and even more so at his rising price tag. For instance, you can get the more talented leadoff man Mookie Betts for the exact same price.
In spite of his hot play, until it results in a bump up the order, Taylor will be tough to trust in DFS.
