Righty Jason Hammel has been all kinds of bad for the Kansas City Royals this season, posting a 4.90 SIERA through 16 starts, and the Los Angeles Dodgers have a solid 5.22 implied total in this matchup.

Hammel has been especially lousy against left-handed hitters, allowing a 5.31 xFIP with a 29.3% hard-hit and 47.1% fly-ball rate, and while Chase Utley is rarely an exciting play, he has a solid 34.0% hard-hit rate against righties this season, and likely batting leadoff for the well-positioned Dodgers offense leaves him offering some solid value.
