Maikel Franco is struggling this year, and he's been particularly bad against right-handers. In that split, Franco has posted a .285 wOBA, 27.0% hard-hit rate and 29.2% fly-ball rate.

Not only is he taking on a righty in Julio Teheran, it's a pitcher who deals against right-handed hitters.

For his career, Teheran has held righties to a .263 wOBA and 29.3% hard-hit rate. His strikeout (24.9%) and walk (4.7%) rates in the split are pretty dope, too. While Teheran isn't having a good year overall, he's maintained his work against righties, recording a 21.6% strikeout rate and 4.2% walk rate while allowing hard contact just 23.7% of the time against right-handed bats.
