Kendrys Morales has some extreme platoon splits this year, but he has been excellent against left-handed pitching, sporting a .396 wOBA and .220 ISO on a 42.1% hard-hit rate. He also ranks top-20 in average exit velocity over the past 15 days.

Boston Red Sox left-hander Drew Pomeranz has a middling 4.07 SIERA this season, and while that doesn't make him a must-target matchup by any stretch, it is a shaky enough mark that Morales' lefty-crushing ways make him appealing at this low price.
