Dinelson Lamet has one of the better strikeout rates on the slate (28.9%), but in a difficult matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he ultimately falls behind the other pitching options.

The Dodgers' active roster is sporting a mighty 111 wRC+ and 36.2% hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching, which is tough enough as it is, but they also walk at a 10.7% clip, which happens to be Lamet's biggest weakness. Lamet has a 10.4% walk rate, which often gets him in trouble, and prevents him from going deep in a lot of games.

With other upside options like Snell, Nelson, Mike Clevinger, Luis Castillo, and Kevin Gausman all available at under $9,000, you have plenty of other ways to go without taking on one of the worst matchups of the evening.
