Lance Lynn gets the benefit of facing the strikeout-prone San Diego Padres, but is it enough to make him worth a look?

Despite a stellar 2.99 ERA and 1.15 WHIP -- which is surely helping one's season-long fantasy team -- it hides a rather unimpressive 4.74 SIERA, suggesting those marks may be a bit undeserving. Additionally, he's tailed off in the second half, posting a 16.9% strikeout rate and 10.6% walk rate since the break. Considering Lynn missed all of 2016 following Tommy John surgery, it isn't out of the question that he's wearing down.

On a slate lacking many big offensive spots, there isn't much incentive in moving off of Kershaw or Kluber to grab a cheaper pitcher with this many red flags.
