Part of the trick in figuring out which players and pitchers to target in the middle and end of fantasy drafts is to look at guys who had a lot of buzz heading into the previous season but struggled for any number of reasons. Going into 2017, Toronto Blue Jays hurler Aaron Sanchez had a ton of buzz after a 2016 season in which he led the American League in ERA (3.00) and went 15-2 in 30 starts with a 3.55 FIP.

However, Sanchez made just eight starts last year thanks to four separate disabled list stints because of a blister issue and a sprained tendon in his finger. He went 1-2 with a 4.25 ERA in those outings, a season truly flushed down the toilet because of a blister that wouldn't go away.

Fantasy owners are clearly reluctant to put him at the top of their lists this spring, but Sanchez did not suffer a shoulder, back or elbow injury. He should be fully healthy now, and if he returns to his 2016 form, teams that nab him are going to have a steal on their hands.
