Rhys Hoskins exploded down the stretch last season, proving himself to be one of the premier power threats in the league. However, this recommendation is less about him and more about his lofty price tag and less-than-desirable matchup.

Matt Harvey was seemingly left for dead as he finished the 2017 season with a 6.70 ERA. You can't argue that his peripherals were strong, either, as Harvey's 5.44 SIERA tells us that he did, in fact, pitch poorly. But what else could we expect after such a serious surgical procedure?

Harvey is a year removed from his rib injury, and based on his strikeout rates and fastball velocity in spring training, he appears to be back on track. With Hoskins priced as if he boasts one of the best matchups on the slate (in a game expected to be played in extremely cold, offense-killing weather), he is an avoid for Tuesday's main slate.
