3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/17/18

Ariel Miranda finished 2017 with the third-worst SIERA (4.96) among starting pitchers on tonight's main slate. Right-handed bats gave him an especially hard time, tagging him for a .331 wOBA and ugly 5.52 xFIP on a 55.5% fly-ball rate.

Carlos Correa has seen a dip in production to start the year, but part of that is because he has made only 19 plate appearances against left-handed pitchers. He has been outstanding in that tiny sample, though, with a .435 wOBA on a 41.7% hard-hit rate.

Even though we can't read much into 19 plate appearances, we can look back to his 2017 production and see similar numbers. He rocked lefties for a .445 wOBA on a 43.2% hard-hit rate last year, and he's in a dope spot against Miranda.
