The Baltimore Orioles have been egregious against right-handed pitching to open the 2018 season. Their 65 wRC+ is the third-worst in the majors, while their 26.3% strikeout rate is the third-highest. Only three teams have lower hard-hit rates against righties, and they also have the 10th-highest soft-hit rate. To cap things off, they also rank only 26th in walk rate.

Carlos Carrasco is more than capable of capitalizing on a dreamy matchup like this one.

Through four starts this season, his skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) sits at 3.66. This is after posting marks below 3.45 in each of his last four seasons, giving him a long track record of success. His strikeout rate (20.6%) is down to start the season, but his swinging-strike rate still sits in the double-digits (11.3%), and he shouldn't have much trouble getting swings and misses from the strikeout-happy Orioles.

The O's have Monday's second-lowest implied total (3.36), and our models project Carrasco as the day's top-scoring fantasy pitcher.
