Jose Pireala, OF, San Diego Padres

Jose Pirela hasn't produced well to start the season, but with a 35.5% hard-hit rate (right in line with his 34.0% mark from 2017), the slow start isn't too much of a concern yet.

A year ago, he showed that righty-righty matchups don't hold him back too much, posting a .342 wOBA and .183 ISO against same-sided pitchers. Colorado Rockies righty Chad Bettis doesn't make for a scary matchup, either, with a 5.34 xFIP against right-handed bats since the start of the 2017 season.

The San Diego Padres have a big 4.94 implied total at Coors Field tonight, and Pirela is a great way to get cost-effective exposure to the Padres' offense.
