We have seen Zack Cozart's production take a huge step back in 2018, going from a .392 wOBA last year to .296 through 26 games this year.

He is making even better contact than he did last year, with a 37.6 hard-hit and 16.5% soft-hit rate (compared to 30.8% hard-hit and 19.5% soft-hit in 2017), and with a .256 batting average on balls in play (compared to .312 last year and a .279 career-average), and we can expect his production to bounce back moving forward.

He also finds himself in a good matchup tonight against Baltimore's Alex Cobb, who is allowing a 39.0% hard-hit rate while sporting an ugly 5.32 SIERA in 2018.
