Brandon Belt, 1B, San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants aren't an offense we tend to give a lot of thought, but Brandon Belt is someone to keep in mind against Zach Eflin.

Eflin performed well in his 2018 debut last week, but as the owner of a career 5.19 SIERA and 12.2% strikeout rate over 133 2/3 innings, we probably shouldn't expect that to continue. Against lefties in his career, Eflin has coughed up a shockingly high .387 wOBA.

As someone who's never hit 20 home runs in a season, Belt seems to always fly under the radar, but he's off to a stellar start in 2018, posting a .413 wOBA and .250 isolated power (ISO) with a 46.8% hard-hit rate and 49.3% fly-ball rate. Playing in AT&T Park has likely suppressed his power over the years, as he has a 134 wRC+ against right-handed pitching across the last three seasons.

There are stronger overall offenses on tonight's slate, but taking Belt as a one-off with a park factor boost in Philadelphia could pay dividends.
