Cleveland's 5.03 implied total is Tuesday's second-highest as they draw a terrific matchup with Francisco Liriano and the Detroit Tigers.

Whatever caused Liriano's disastrous drop-off in 2017 doesn't seem to be going away. His 5.09 SIERA was a career-worst, and he's on an even uglier pace with a 5.15 so far in 2018. In that time, he has a heinous 5.60 xFIP against right-handed bats.

Yan Gomes has no trouble with southpaws, and should be able to take advantage of this spot. He has a giant .410 wOBA and .243 ISO against lefties to start the season, and while that's over a small sample-size, he also tagged lefties for a strong .360 wOBA and .264 ISO in 2017.
