The Boston Red Sox are on the far opposite end of the spectrum from Tampa, with a 5.29 implied total -- by far the day's highest.

Baltimore Orioles righty Kevin Gausman hasn't allowed much production so far in 2018, but his 4.07 SIERA indicates that he hasn't been nearly as good as his 3.18 ERA might make it look. The 33.8% hard-hit rate he is allowing is his highest since his 2013 rookie season, while his 17.8% soft-hit rate is his lowest since 2014.

J.D. Martinez has been outstanding this season. He's on pace for a career-best .436 wOBA while also sporting a .300 isolated slugging (ISO), and he ranks second in the majors in average exit velocity (minimum 50 batted balls).

We don't have to worry about his platoon splits when he's taking on a righty as he has crushed right-handers for a 55.0% hard-hit and 4.4% soft-hit rate to open the year.
