3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 5/24/18

The Boston Red Sox have one of the tougher matchups against Blake Snell, but they also have some of tonight's most talented hitters. While most will choose to spend the dough on Mookie Betts or J.D. Martinez -- and rightfully so -- don't forget about Xander Bogaerts.

Bogaerts has shown renewed promise as a hitter, upping his hard-hit rate (35.0%) and lowering his ground-ball rate (39.0%) -- which has helped lead to a .367 wOBA and .238 ISO. His average exit velocity has also increased, and he's hitting barrels with the best of them, suggesting this power could have some legs.

Tropicana Field is hardly the best venue for bats, and the aforementioned Snell could very well stifle Boston, but at a shallow position like shortstop, betting on a talent like Bogaerts could prove worthwhile.
