4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/30/18
Kurt Suzuki, C, Atlanta Braves
Price: $2,500
Kurt Suzuki has also been mashing lefties over a small sample in 2018.
Like Healy, we have to go back a few seasons to get a significant sample-size to work with, but in 219 plate appearances since the start of the 2016 season, Suzuki has an excellent .383 wOBA and .267 ISO. And that comes on a 33.1% hard-hit and 45.6% fly-ball rate against left-handers.
Jason Vargas has really struggled with right-handed bats, allowing a .333 wOBA and 4.69 xFIP on a 34.3% hard-hit rate over the last two seasons. We're not likely to see Suzuki's production slow down in a matchup this favorable.
