Steven Wright is rarely the type of pitcher we want to use on FanDuel. After all, he's a knuckleballer with a career 18.6% strikeout rate.

But Manny Machado is out of the lineup for Baltimore on Monday, eliminating the Baltimore Orioles' most dangerous weapon. What remains is a unimposing group, with plenty of whiffs to be claimed from guys like Chris Davis and Chance Sisco. The knuckleball can both giveth and taketh away, but as Wright showed with last week's 49-FanDuel-point performance versus the Detroit Tigers, it's capable of providing some upside when it's dancing. Back in 2016, when he made 24 starts, he punched out at least 6 batters in 13 of them.

Wright also comes in at a dirt-cheap price, so you'll be able to put together stacks that the chalk lineups won't be able to afford. Sure, it's a risky maneuver to rely on an erratic pitcher in his second 2018 start, but with no elite hurlers taking the mound tonight, it's might be a gamble worth taking in GPPs.
