Your eyes don't exactly light up when you see "at Boston Red Sox" on the calendar, but keep in mind that Boston has been very poor all year against lefties, amassing 29.9% group hard-contact rate and 24.9% team strikeout rate in the split on the season.
Just last week, Wade LeBlanc himself benefited from Boston's pronounced platoon splits, with the late-blooming Seattle Mariners lefty posting nine strikeouts to zero walks across 7.2 innings, albeit in the much friendlier confines of Safeco Field.
It might be the case that Boston's recent familiarity with LeBlanc makes this recommendation especially touchy, but deep-leaguers with nothing to lose might want to roll the dice here.
