Alex Avila, C, Arizona Diamondbacks

Another guy that can make some ridiculous contact, Alex Avila has a 52.5% hard-hit and 7.5% soft-hit rate against righties this season. Like Duvall, BABIP has hurt his production a bit (sitting at .237), but Avila is also always going to be a boom-or-bust type hitter, striking out a ton but making big contact when he does connect.

He's got less than 100 plate appearances against righties this year, but he showed similar things in 2017, with a 54.2% hard-hit and 5.4% soft-hit rate, as well as a 31.9% strikeout rate. Combining those seasons, he boasts a respectable .336 wOBA and .175 ISO against righties, with 16 home runs and 46 RBI over 429 plate appearances.

At minimum salary, you can more than afford to take on the risk that comes with his downside, especially with the boost his upside gets against Los Angeles Angels right Felix Pena, who has allowed a hard-hit rate north of 40% for his career.
