3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 6/20/18

There's no mincing words -- Bryce Harper has been absolutely brutal this month. In June, he's posted a horrendous 36.5% strikeout rate and 27.3% hard-hit rate, and a .268 xwOBA doesn't exactly grant encouragement either.

And yet, this is an awfully cheap price for Harper when the Washington Nationals are strutting around with a 5.23 implied team total against Andrew Cashner. Cashner is one of the weaker arms on the slate, owning a 4.80 SIERA, 19.0% strikeout rate, and 10.4% walk rate through 31 games.

Meanwhile, we all know what Harper is capable of when he's right. After all, despite his struggles, he's still displaying a 43.8% hard-hit rate and .407 xwOBA against righties this season. His recent form makes him a risky bet in cash games, but you never can truly tell when a cold streak could abruptly end, and in a spot like this, why not take a chance?

This could very well be the cheapest we see Harper all year, and Cashner might be the key to him returning to his old self.
